Beulah Christian Preschool and Child Care (BCPCC), a nationally accredited program, establishes a nurturing atmosphere where qualified teachers provide experiences in Christian ways of living, learning and playing together, as well as experiences which promote cognitive and physical development.Recognizing the natural curiosity of young children about their world, BCPCC provides a variety of activities for small groups and individuals which encourage children to participate and grow at their own rate. Classroom activities are structured to provide a balanced program for spiritual, social. emotional, intellectual, and physical development.The Program accepts students on the basis of the best developmental placement for the student, without regard for race, color, or creed.
The program was founded in 1978 as a nursery school/preschool and grew to include a full day component for ages 6 weeks through age 5. Our center is located in Churchill Borough/Pittsburgh and reflects the various backgrounds and cultures of the eastern suburbs. Our teachers are educated, experienced, nurturing and eager to not only share their knowledge and experience with the children but also to support families in their journey of "parenthood".
BCPCC is NAEYC Accredited and is a Keystone STARS 4 STAR center. We are also licensed through the Department of Human Services (DHS).
